Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) Organizes an Interactive Session with Scholars
Amman - February 2012
In line with its vision of promoting social entrepreneurship and engagement, Elia Nuqul Foundation recently organized interactive sessions with its scholars and social media experts. The discussions took place at Nuqul Group’s Head Office as well as Princess Basma Center in Irbid, during which participants explored engagement tools through social media and online channels.
The highlight of these sessions focused on special soft skills aimed at improving self-expression, self-development, and discipline and time management. All ENF scholars were introduced to the latest social media tactics along with the impact on community to effectively capitalize on this new channel promoting their overall career development and growth.
Ms. Randi Abdin, Director of Elia Nuqul Foundation, commented: “Our objective at ENF is to offer our scholars the right platform to learn and develop emphasizing relevant channels such as social media. It is important for all students to effectively use existing tools to meet their needs and to facilitate their educational process.”
“We are glad to plant the seeds of three main concepts that ENF strongly believes in: volunteerism, social entrepreneurship & the Pay It Forward approach. These workshops contribute positively to our journey and we look forward to future ones.” Ms. Abdin added.
Mr. Kamel Al Asmar, the social media expert commented, “We believe that such meetings with ENF’s youth are very important and definitely encourage them to expand their horizons while exploring new opportunities that meet their desires and dreams.
We are glad to be involved and we encourage more similar sessions engaging ENF’s team, scholars and social media experts.”
