Amman, March 2018 – Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) signed a strategic partnership with “Careem”, the leading ride hailing app in the region, offering higher educational scholarships for the sons and daughters of Careem Captains selected through ENF’s recruitment systems and procedures. The partnership was announced at the signing ceremony, which took place at Nuqul Group Headquarters on Wednesday 7 March, 2018.
This agreement marks the beginning of the strategic partnership between the two organizations, aiming to expand efforts and including more scholars benefitting from the Elia Nuqul scholarship Fund. Additionally, it gives scholars the chance to participate in ENF’s extracurricular workshops and training programs enhancing scholar’s professional and personal skills helping them entering the workforce with an edge on their peers.
The agreement was signed by ENF Director Ms. Randi Abdin, and Mr. Kareem Zinati Careem Operations Manager, in attendance of Chairman of ENF Mr. Ghassan Nuqul.
On this occasion, Ms. Abdin expressed her delight with this great beginning of the strategic partnership. "In order to create the desired impact on youth and to sustain it, ENF aims to expand its strategic partnerships with institutions across all sectors that align with its vision. This is where our partnership with Careem began, it is an outstanding company that sets an example for young people on how to use technology and innovative ideas to create projects that bring positive changes to our society”.
