ENF Signs Partnership Agreement with Delta Insurance for University Education

Amman, January 2017 – Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) and Delta Insurance have signed a partnership agreement to provide university scholarships for deserving youth in various academic majors.

The agreement will see Delta covering the tuition fees and monthly stipend for scholars who have been selected in accordance with clear criteria related to academic achievement, and socioeconomic status, among others.

The agreement was signed by ENF Chairman of the Board, Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, and Delta Insurance, General Manager, Mr. Zaki Noursi, who emphasized Delta’s support of the education sector and community service in Jordan, as well as the effective role ENF plays in preparing scholars for the labor market through its extracurricular training. "We believe in the importance of contributing to the community by investing in education due to its positive and sustainable impact on individuals and communities alike," said Noursi, "supporting scholars and young people who are full of passion and ambition to pursue their education means supporting them to get the life they deserve, providing them with better opportunities, and sending them on a journey towards building a better future."

Mr. Ghassan Nuqul said that ENF is constantly seeking strategic partnerships in various sectors, one of which is insurance due to the vital role it plays in Jordan’s national economy.

He added "ENF will only be able to achieve its goals with the cooperation of Jordan’s institutions, and individuals, so we value Delta Insurance's efforts in this regard.”

Students will be participating in ENF’s capacity building programs, in addition to curricular and extracurricular training workshops and activities that aim to enhance their professional and life skills, thus preparing them to compete in the labor market. It is worth mentioning that 71% of the Foundation’s scholars find employment immediately upon graduation.
