Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) Organizes a Career Planning Day

The Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) organized a Career Planning Day in partnership with Q Perspective on the 9th of June at The Children’s Museum Jordan engaging ENF scholars with interactive diverse activities aiming at complementing the Foundation’s work with an opportunity for scholars to learn about creating a career path leading to a smooth transition into the market after graduation.
Throughout the workshop scholars got the chance to interact with experts and professionals guiding them in facing challenges that might emerge throughout their career. The importance of choosing the right career path, as such a choice affects long term sustainability, whether in terms of accomplishments and growth or financially.
The workshop included many sessions, during which the scholars were able to learn their interview skills and CV writing techniques. Professionals from the fields of medicine, engineering, business administration, tourism and hospitality, information technology and media engaged with ENF scholars offering them insights about real life professional experience.
On this occasion, Mr. Ghassan Nuqul, Elia Nuqul Foundation’s Vice Chairperson and Executive Committee Member said: “The workshop was designed to empower ENF scholars guiding them in choosing their career path. We collaborated with the right partners to provide our scholars with effective employability and communication skills thus increasing their employment opportunities in their future. ”
Mr. Tamim Suyyagh, Speaker in the field of engineering, said: “The link between theoretical education and the practical application is a major challenge in the Jordanian market. Throughout these workshops we can help the scholars to identify their career path which is inspired by their passionate dedication and ambitious attitude.
Ms. Shatha Asha, one of ENF scholars also commented: “The energy we have during our age should be used properly to plan for the right career and to work on self development, which is of course guided by experienced individuals.”
She also commented: “These workshops are effective and their impact is important leading to the development of a successful plan for our future.”
