Enhancement Program

Youth do not always have opportunities for exposure to training opportunities that assist improving their interpersonal, soft and employability skills, and the cultivation of confidence to participate actively in their communities. Yet, these are crucial life skills that will greatly impact their future socio-economic well-being.
 

For this reason, ENF provides access to capacity building and training to help scholars in their transition into adulthood and the work force through a wide array of practical, hands-on training programs and activities. Training components are developed in close collaboration with experienced entities to ensure topics address gaps and needs of youth related to personal development and employment.

  • From Theory to Practice

    ENF provides scholars with the right practical experience to prepare them for the job market. Through the Foundation’s network of partners, ENF scholars have the unique opportunity of getting hands-on experience in some of Jordan’s most coveted firms and establishments in relevant sectors, in addition to enhancing personal and interpersonal skills, thus increasing their employability potential.

  • It is no secret that success today largely depends on computer literacy as well as an awareness of the English language; both are the youth’s passport to successful competition at university, daily lives, and the global job market. With these two skills in particular, ENF ensures that its scholars have access to the latest knowledge in their specialty areas through this skill set and much more.

  • An online discussion forum among ENF scholars and fellows; the forum is based on selected topics that will keep ENF scholars and fellows engaged within interactive and informative discussions virtually which are then taken physically.  The topics are selected by scholars; and the sessions are moderated by ENF and other individuals recommended by ENF.

    Topics include among others, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and community service.

  • ENF is a strong believer in mentoring its fellows as it enhances the professional and personal development of ENF fellow mentees and empowers and expands their potentials and create possibilities.

    ENF collaborates with interested individuals and partner organizations to provide mentoring for its scholars. By identifying scholars' needs and challenges first, ENF matches scholars with the right mentors for a truly life changing experience. In turn, ENF anticipates that once the scholars have graduated they could extend the guidance and support they once received to their fellow scholars, thus creating a powerful supportive network of professionals assisting one another to achieve their goals.
